Mia, daughter of Gabriella and Moshe Leimberg, is a 17 years old high-school senior at the Jerusalem-based School of the Arts. Mia is a serious student studying to excel in her matriculation exams. She holds a part-time job at a local stationary store (Kravitz) and loves to sing, swim and was taking driving lessons in order to get her driver’s license. She speaks perfect English (a result of living in Geneva, Switzerland for 4 years). Mia is a sweet girl.

Mia’s Shizu dog, ‘Bella’, is an integral part of the family. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Mia and her mother Gabriella (+ dog Bella), were hosted by her aunt Clara Merman. They entered the safe room after hearing the red alert sirens, along with her uncle Fernando and aunt Clara’s partner, Louis. Hamas terrorists broke into the house and kidnapped everyone in the safe room.  All contact with them was lost around 11:00AM, and the whereabouts of ‘Bella’ is also unclear.
