Sharon, 34, is married to David, and they have three-years old twin daughters. David and the twins were kidnapped, as were her sister Daniel and Emilia, Daniel’s daughter.
Sharon was born and raised in Yavne, and after meeting David, moved to Kibbutz Nir Oz. Sharon is multi-talented and versatile, and in all the roles she held, she used her social skills to create a harmonious and progressive work environment. Sharon holds two academic degrees in communications and computer science and was a project manager for the Ramon Airport. In recent years, she was the personal assistant to Gadi Yarkoni, the head of the Eshkol Regional Council.
When her twins were born, Sharon focused all her energy on raising and educating them. David and Sharon enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with their extended family in the Kibbutz and in Yavne, with Sharon’s family.
Sharon is a ‘people person’. She easily forges connections, makes people around her feel comfortable, and knows how to defuse tensions and create harmony. She is always surrounded by family and friends who love to be in her company.Interviewee: Remus Alony, father of Sharon Cunio and Daniel Alony; grandfather of Emilia Alony
